Charron Moczygemba - Starting Points I have lived in San Antonio, Texas for the past 30 yrs, but have traveled all over the world as a military child in the Air Force. I have been homeschooling since 2004 through our LIFE Co-op for 7 years, than through TEAMS for the past 9 years. Throughout my teaching experience I have taught classes from kinder to 12th grad, with a focus on history, science, art, writing, and physical education. I have received my B.A. from Ashford University in History, and my Master’s from American Military University, graduating with honors, in American history in 2014. God has called our family to home-school out four children. Throughout our families homeschooling journey, I have had the opportunity to teach many talented young children, watching them grow and bloom over the years. I have found that they have taught me more about teaching than I could have imagined. Discovering God through His creation is always inspiring, especially when one can witness His hand print etched throughout history and science. My favorite aspect about teaching is watching the students learn and experience education through their gifts and talents. I enjoy incorporating different learning techniques and styles to enhance the educational in the classroom.

April Pickering - Chemistry and Physics I've been teaching science for 13 years. I was raised as a military child so I love to travel and learn about new things. I've always had a love for animals and nature so it makes sense that I was drawn science. I majored in biology education with a minor in chemistry and enough science classes to get a teaching endorsement in all sciences. I have loved teaching all different branches of science (chemistry, zoology, physics, biology, anatomy and physiology, earth systems, physical science) but I have not enjoyed the public school aspect of it. I'm excited for this opportunity to find a chance to do what I love while making time to nurture and raise my son.
